Canada:

Crystal Harkness - Beauty Through Balance Educator for B.C.

Crystal is a passionate and dedicated health care practitioner and trainer. Over the past 10 years she has focused her efforts in developing a career in both holistic and manual therapies in the spa and healthcare industry.  Crystal also brings her professional and extensive business background incorporating over 15 years experience in sales, marketing and training.  She is committed to providing the highest standard of sales, service and support.

Her professional certification and qualifications include: a Bachelors of Business Management degree through the University of Guelph and Ryerson University in Ontario.  She is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and is licensed through the provincially legislated College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia. As well, Crystal is a Certified Fitness Trainer (CPT), Certified BodyTalk Practitioner (CBP) in energy medicine, and has two years of Osteopathic training with the Canadian College of Osteopathy. 

ALBERTA:

Susan Cossi Burgess - mifpa International Holistic Health Practitioner /Teacher Alberta Representative & Trainer.

Susan Cossi has practiced holistic care internationally for nearly two decades, treating clients across the globe, from the Middle East, to the United Kingdom and the Americas. She brings a unique combination of teachings; combining ancient Egyptian mystery school knowledge, with practical earth based approaches from South & Central America with a foundation of western integrative wellness.

Susan’s area of specialty is aromatherapy, having received accreditation from the esteemed Shirley Price International College of Aromatherapy in the UK. Her clinical background includes not only aromatherapy, but also encompasses a full spectrum of physiology, diet, nutrition and a comprehensive understanding of medicinal plants and their uses in healing. Although her life has all the flavor of a jet setter, she remains humbly dedicated to others and her holistic and metaphysical studies. Susan’s path is truly motivated by heart as she seeks to touch people and facilitate healing every day.

Rod Mulholland; Thalassotherapy Trainer Rod Mulholland’s formal training and experience comes from his studies in science at the University of Victoria & Camosun College in chemistry & physics and spending the last 4 years in in Canada training spa therapists, Aestheticians, Registered Massage Therapists and Naturopathic Doctors in Thalassotherapy.

Recently recognized for his award-winning BLOG (www.thalassotherapyandiodine.blogspot.com) for those dealing with chronic illnesses, Rod continues to research and collect scientific data through his experiences traveling around eastern Canada and how thalassotherapy has been used historically and today.

Ria Holmgren; Thalassotherapy Trainer After many years personal coaching and working as a consultant in the spa’s health & wellness industry here in North America, Ria additionally trains Aestheticians, Registered Massage Therapists, Energy Workers, Reflexologists, Chiropractors and others in the field of wellness about the natural powers of the ocean properties and the ability to help the body to heal.

Ria is a passionate presenter of information that is available for all to learn about Thalassotherapy and the history of the ocean by simplifying it and visually painting the instinctive nature everyone has regarding our bodies.

Through the Quality Assurance Program at the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, CANSO spa group offers Thalassotherapy Training for Continuing Education Units for RMT's and is dedicated to working and improving the spa & retail wellness industry here in Canada.

Eastern Europe:

Dr. Vacek is the Representative and Consultant for Beauty Through Balance spa products in Eastern Europe. Dr. Vacek and her team have successfully launched Beauty Through Balance in the Orea Hotel Wellness Spas(one of Eastern Europe’s finest luxury hotel chains)
